The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 is a smart solar charge controller that gets the maximum power possible from your solar panels and charges your batteries efficiently and safely. It works with 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems and automatically detects the system voltage. Depending on the model, it can charge batteries at up to 100A. It is compatible with lithium, lead-acid, and other battery types, with fully adjustable charging settings.
You can monitor and change settings wirelessly using Bluetooth through the Victron Connect app. The app lets you view live information such as solar production, battery voltage, charging current, and historical performance data.
Multiple MPPTs can be linked together using simple RJ45 network cables. When connected, they work together and synchronise their charging stages for better system performance. They can also communicate with a Victron GX device for advanced monitoring.
If the GX device is connected to the internet, you can monitor and control the entire system remotely through Victron’s VRM online portal from anywhere in the world.
The unit also includes a VE.Direct communication port for monitoring, integration, or streetlight control applications. An external device, such as a lithium battery system, can remotely switch the charger on or off. An optional LCD display can also be added to show live information and allow setup directly on the unit itself.
